This week's tumblr post is based on a hodgepodge of my fall wardrobe staples and Muffy Aldrich's blog The Daily Prep. Trying to define "prep" is about as hard as trying to define "hipster," and trying to do so for both cause a lot of unnecessary trouble sometimes. Yes, there are a number of things to point out about what "prep" is and what it stands for, etc. etc. but the ideas I most drawn to about such clothing and products is that they are made from quality materials that will last a long time. I always think of what Agent Cooper said, "That's what I need, a clean place, reasonably priced," when I think of American/British heritage brands. Simple, good quality, and in comparison to couture, reasonably priced.

is Filson considered a preppy company?
In other news, the first half of November has flown by and I have been so bad at keeping up with my Twin Peaks recaps! I'll update soon, as soon as I get over this damn cold.
